Crescent Falls is situated about 23 kilometers west of Nordegg with the last 6 are along a gravel road. It is a great detour if you are in the area as the two tier waterfall pumps out a considerable amount being that it is situated on the Bighorn River. The road access is open year round which allows you to check out the view point no matter the season. The falls have a total height of 25 meters, or 82 feet.

Besides the Crescent Falls viewpoint, there is also a 4.5 kilometer long trail that runs the length of the Bighorn Canyon back to the David Thompson Highway and Abraham Lake. There is also an unserviced campground, Crescent Falls Campground, and a day use area right adjacent to the falls. Both of which were in great condition when we were by.
